Just a few items to discuss about racing.

I attended all 4 shows at Spencer this year and have to give everyone involved a big Thank You.I hate that the Dave London Super stock race is run on the same night as the big Maynard race forcing fans to choose between 2 great races.I see that the 4cylinders ran at Oswego with the Super stocks but was not even advertised as such. The ad for Oswego in Area Auto Racing News does not even list start times for anything forcing me to look it up on their web site and call the track.I really want to attend the Whelen Tour race at Oswego but $45 for a single file frieght train won by Big Money Matt is too steep so i will go blow that money at the casino.Have a great weekend everybody.

I agree, and scheduling two significant races on the same weekend is truly poor planning. Racing, especially of the asphalt variety, is struggling to hold on, and the only way to keep it going, is through cooperation by the tracks, not competition with each other.

Having said that, the Troyer Memorial at Spencer's, last night, was overall a good show. The only criticism, would be that for some reason they didn't seem to start on time. It appeared that the show began 30-40 minutes late, and when you're dealing with cool air temperatures, which, in turn, cool the track surface, I believe it contributed to a number spins, which then further delayed the proceedings.

The modified feature was won by Hirschman, followed by Jankowiak, Hossfeld, and Emerling.

One other minor thing, there were 3 of the "602 modifieds" on hand. With no disrespect to the drivers, in the interest of time, was it really necessary for them to run time trials, a heat race, as well as feature? 10 minutes of "hot laps", to get the cars set up, as well as get some laps for time, then run the feature....

It was great to see the grand stands with a large crowd but lets keep the show going. To much down time. I hate to say this but people remember all the faults over all the good that you have done, this goes for any race track.

Ya I agree. Starting the modified feature just minutes before 11 o'clock was absolutely ridiculous. You had 4 features for the night.. 2 out of the 4 had 6 cars or less... cut the heats races out. Or start the modified feature first. Victory lane interviews should not take 10 to 15 minutes. They run a great program just needs better time management
