That's what I said earlier in this. Street stock guy's stay somewhat close to home and already have a track they call home. I trully believe that the cars are coming back next year without any changes. Rule changes are only going to make it more expensive for the people who already race there. We already have 14(which isn't good) I believe that Dan Gordon, Allison Pierce,Kurt Stebbens,Ron Daily,Glenn Helfrick and I know there are more that I'm forgetting. And there may be some that couldn't do it every week that maybe can next year. And then again if the rules change the cars that only come once in awhile that are normal Woodhull cars may just stay home all the time.

i just went to a little track last night up to i88 speedway and they decided to let all streets from the surrounding area to come and had the best tern out they ever had the car count went from 8 to10 cars to 28 cars with a week notice

JUST CHANGE FRAME RULE SO OLD SUPER STOCKS CAN RUN LOTS OF THOSE CARS AROUND MAYBE MAKE THEM RUN 3000LBS

We have a winner!!!!!!  I would have raced there a lot this year if they allowed clip cars.

We had 25 Street Stocks last week after opening up the rules...  Do you think that every one of these guys would run each and every week next year if we changed the rules to allow them?  I bet you wouldn't get more than one or two to commit to it, as each of them already has a home track where they race weekly.

there was three other tracks running specials last night and most of the dirt cars wont buy the 245 tires for wood hull and sky line was allowing the Hoosiers for that race at 3200 lbs  and i think Afton was open that allowed the Hoosiers at3200 again

big parts of the car count at i-88 was payout and  home tracks are not run points. they need to get the class back to what it was meant to be. "affordable", a napa shock is cheaper then bilstein and the guys running the cheap "stock" parts are not going to compete with performance parts. i would not want to race if i could not be competitive.  someone on here said there are a lot of cars just setting because they are being priced out and can not be competitive. maybe get all track promoters together and have a set of rules for all tracks in the area to go by and enforce them. tracks let one thing slide this week then another next week and so on next thing you know the street stock's are pro stocks then super stock and then late models.

I agree with jeff alot of car will be back next year. I thank the rules are fine the way they are changing them will hurt I thank. The stebbins racing team will be bring back 3-4 street stock next year alone. alot of people will be moving up and some are leaving. How bad is it if there is only 20 cars anyway ? look at all the money that was saved this year alone from having less car count.

That will never happen... Promoters don't want cars to be the same, their afraid the cars they have will go somewhere else..
