Sounded like Ted is going to leave everything pretty much the same. My car owner Larry Kennison won the "Dust to Glory Award". Of course I had a few drinks so maybe they're running Micro and Mini Sprints next year and I was drunk and missed it!

WOODHULL RACEWAY CAPS OFF 2011 SEASON WITH ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET.

(Woodhull, NY)  The Horseheads Elks Club in Horseheads, NY was the setting for the season ending Woodhull Raceway Awards Banquet on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011.  A year that started last March with the Annual Arnot Mall Car Show presented by Swarthout Recycling came to a conclusion with another aggressive season dotted with a multitude of Saturday night shows, one mid-week special, a Memorial Day event and one Friday special plus a Sunday Truck and Tractor Pull.

Acting as emcees for the Annual Awards festivities were the three regular announcers at the track, Shelby Button, Morgan Colegrove and Kenny Shupp Jr.  Track owner, Ted White and his girlfriend, Brandi McCutcheon were on hand to present the hardware to the top ten in the final point standings for each of Woodhull?s regular six classes of competition plus a multitude of special awards.

A professionally catered buffet style dinner was handled by Corning Catering and Bull Dog Sounds was on board to crank out the tunes throughout the night.

It was announced during the Awards Ceremony that plans are already underway for another action packed summer of racing at the historic Steuben County oval as the track will begin its 48th consecutive season with the Arnot Mall Car Show set for March 24 and 25, 2012.  A tentative schedule of events will be released sometime after January 1 and racers are encouraged to register for the car show after January 15, 2011.  All information will be posted on the tracks web site at www.woodhullraceway.com.
