suggestions for the new owner of Woodhull raceway

I say just some touching up right now is good: some paint, lap counter fixed, lights or new strands of lights, also some grand stand lights are out as well. gotta make sure the track prep equipment (ie: Water truck, grader.) can still run.

I think the 4cyl.  should be alowed to run stock type headers and maybe a holley 350.  and what ever else a cnc machine can make for it.    lol ;D

I don't think any class should be dropped really. If the track was like it was two weeks ago every week, we'd be done by 11 or 11:30, I believe.

Dropping classes isn't a repair for a "timely nite"-count caution laps as laps, elliminate the loooong dragged out cautions, if everybody does their part the night is alot smoother.
If everybody lends a hand you can keep cost low, heck I would even donate some of my time(kinda hard to put down the ole adult beverages). There is alot of refining that can be done, how much of it get done depends on all involved.
Would like to welcome Ted and hope for a premium race facility.

Ted is a very sharp guy.

He knows to leave well enough alone.

From a fan of Woodhull - continue the traditions!

I read about the car counts and the packed stands every week if they dont already do this would run headline classes first then people can file out as they want other than making the place look better i wouldnt mess with that show at all there doing something right there that other tracks should follow....

maybe an open body rule for the mini stocks?

No thanks, Don't need latemodel/southern style body's on minis. If it looks like a real car, It should be allowed. Slab sided cars don't look like real cars.

I vote for an ice cream stand and a stripper pole at the winners circle.

I agree with winkey....Exit the pits and race at turn four, If your not lined up tough doo doo. Count caution laps as laps run. If a class is having a problem wrecking and not running, move it to last the following week. Cause three cautions and get parked, no exceptions. Get caught cheating and get a two week suspension. If its in the crates it should be a life time ban.

just my two cents.

well with that said i think if you win the championship may you should move up and give the kids and young guys a chance to win and not get flustered with racing . but again it no fun to go watch the same cars win every week . including the vanpelts so i stopped going to woodhull some please dont take this wrong but the guy in the minis that win week after week should yes be made move up  but again thats just my way of thinking

tbundy4, not to be rude either but it seems that you haven't been to the highbanks in a while. Woodhull does run the headline classes first throughout the night. Yes they have moved the 360 Late Models up which I thought was a great idea. They have been running a lot better, apart from a few drivers. Other than that, not much of a change. Its not like we run the 360's last in the lineup behind the Mini Stocks or 'Enduro' FWD Class which I heard they've been doing at Black Rock most of the summer.  As for the guy 'who wins all the time in the 4 bangers', I have heard he is moving to street stock next year, and the car is almost completed. His cousin (?) Brandon is still in the Mini's and probably will be for a couple of years. Brandon Martin ('a young gun) won a couple features this year, which I am glad for him. The whole class is fun, or both classes, but I had a lot more fun in a Mini Stock than in a FWD. Although I like Woodhull and would love to see it become better than it is now. JMO

Also Mike, is it still sitting down there
