I am willing to bet that some of the dirt tracks will at least try to run and they are faced with a lot more work to get their tracks in shape after a storm than the paved tracks.

Ransomville is still planning on running as of 10:00am Friday morning. No fair weather fans or teams at this track. They fill the place rain snow or shine.

It's not always worries for the track itself; it also concerns the areas around the facility used by fans (to park, walk, etc.)--the surrounding grounds getting all mucked up tends to be a nuisance and an annoyance; and let's not forget driver's transporting vehicles which, because of their weight, width, and length can also be mired in wet grouinds...just more headaches for the "greedy" track owners who lose an entire week's income due to bad weather!

?We are currently looking at possible dates, with Andy Harpell, as to when we might possibly run an RoC program at Spencer,? stated track promoter John White.

Any guesses/ wishes as to when the ROC/Spencer might run the show?

I will give the RoC some credit.  Lancaster took away an RoC race this year and released a limited modified schedule on different tires.  Having all those cars at Spencer June 21st will help Lancaster the following day no doubt.  Andy Harpell could have held a grudge but didn't.  I hope Lancaster remembers this decision.

Your right he could have and I am grateful he didn't. With the shape asphalt racing is in, we don't need anyone holding grudges. just wish some how some way they all could agree on something and get modified racing in this area back on track.

Dollar Bill, that is a very nice thought, but according to my Lancaster Schedule the stock cars are off the night of June 22nd.

I agree. If it was by accident or not it is a smart play. Some of the long distance teams that

might not travel otherwise could be there. Now we need the weather GODS to luv the Mods.

Ransomville and Little Valley both cancelled. Up here, Ohsweken ran but they'll be towing haulers out of the natural clay pits and cars out of the parking lot
