I think the Zacharias family is involved in the oval track. (already some people are saying that they should convert the surface to dirt by putting clay over it.) Some think a dirt track would draw lots of race cars and spectators. I will say that the Zachariases did a great job at the end when theyn ran the original Shangri La Speedway (paved) which they had to change the name of the track to Tioga Motorsports Park.

Zacharias called me two days ago and told me I was in charge of putting on an Enduro at
Shangri-La II Motor Speedway we have the chance to be the first race back on the circle track. Specific day is TBD but pencil in February 3rd as a potential date.
Everything is still in discussion including rules, looking at 4 cylinders only and the basic rules
Evergreen Raceway uses.

A good sight to see racecars on the track today. Place is in a lot better shape than most anticipated. The drag strip will officially reopen on April 27th with the first of many no prep races to kick it off. Updates on the circle track will come along over the next few months.
