well not to spread gossip except this is the internet, but I heard tales of a dq and that they were still gonna get half money and half points.  Which if true makes no sense how is it only half illegal?  It is Tuesday and would be nice if they posted official results.

I was told by the head tech that the 34 was being penalized half pay and points for a grey area violation concerning the upper rear control arm bushings. A johnny joint is what i was told was in the rear.  Not sure what it is or what it does. The 8 car was fine and never in question. Im sure an official track announcement will be made soon?

Johnnie joint?  Aren't they square sorta, usually blue with white top and made of plastic?  I must be thinking of something else.

What I did was outside the box but I dont see where I violated the rules. I like everyone else am trying to beat Lee. I am fine with whatever decision is made and should of have perhaps  asked about the part. I feel this is part of racing and not the only part thats not like everyone elses. Sorry for the aggrevation it may have caused.

Its what racing is all about!        Trying to get an edge on the competition with-in the the way the rules are stated!  Why does it take so long to get the points standings on the track site updated?  Am I going to need to take job that over next year?
