RACE OF CHAMPIONS FOUR CYLINDER DASH SERIES TO TAKE ON NEW NAME FOR 2021

“RACE OF CHAMPIONS FOAR SCORE DASH SERIES” TO MAKE DEBUT

-FOAR Score and Race of Champions continue Partnership with Similar Goals-



Alden, N.Y. (March 17, 2021) – The Friends of Auto Racing (FOAR) Score Club and the Race of Champions have once again partnered to help promote the club throughout the region. The Race of Champions Four Cylinder Dash Series will now be titled the Race of Champions FOAR Score Dash Series.



The terms of the agreement are not financial and are simply intended on the promotion of racing throughout the Western New York, Pennsylvania and Southern Ontario Region of the Northeast.



“The FOAR Score Club plays a vital role in racing in the region,” stated Joe Skotnicki, Race of Champions. “The club is steep in tradition with a great history and we look forward to helping the club return to prominence. We spoke with Bobby Woch and came up with a plan to help the club remain front and center with race fans and racers throughout the region.”



The club, which has not held a meeting since the pandemic began, is ready to resume meetings and functions when permitted.



“The Race of Champions has been a great partner for the club,” stated current club president and local entry level racing enthusiast, Bobby Woch. “We have a done a lot with the Race of Champions and the Series has never asked or taken anything from the club that is directed toward their drivers. They have recognized the importance of the club and we are excited to continue working with them.”



The Race of Champions is a sanctioning body presenting Modified and Stock Car racing on asphalt and dirt surfaces throughout the Northeast, with events in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Hoosier Racing Tire, VP Racing Fuels, Waddell Communications, TDH Refrigeration, Sherwood Racing Wheels, Wilbert’s U-Pull It and Speed51.com. The 71st annual Race of Champions weekend will take place in 2021 at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania and is the second longest consecutive auto-racing event in North America, second only to the Indianapolis 500.
