Brockville Speedway Books a Pair of 2025 Super DIRTcar Big Block Dates
By Jim Clarke, Clarke Motorsports Communications/First Draft Media
Santa Claus is coming to town and the stars of the Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified tour will check-in for a pair of 2025 starts at Brockville Ontario Speedway.
Just in time to add some holiday cheer to next year’s racing schedule, the promotional team at the popular Eastern Ontario oval is happy to confirm plans to have the crowd favourite pack on the line-up for events Wednesday, July 30th, paying $7,500 to win and Friday, October 17th, with a $10,000 payday. Track owner and promoter Paul Kirkland says this is the kind of news he’s been wanting to share with fans since 2015.
“Its no secret that we’d been looking to add a 2nd Big Block date to the schedule for a number of years and to have them on the calendar for both the Canadian Classic and our season-ending Fall Nationals is exactly what we were hoping for,” confirmed Kirkland. “Getting the news out to our fan base this early in the off-season will create some solid excitement in the provincial motorsports community.”
Fresh from a campaign that celebrated the 30th consecutive season of track promotion by the Kirkland family, the Brockville Ontario Speedway staff is putting in some long hours behind the scenes on plans to launch the 2025 roster. Reigning track champions including Ryan Arbuthnot, Bobby Herrington and Lee Ladouceur are all expected to defend their 2024 crowns in the respective Small Block, Sportsman-Modified and Crate Sprint Car divisions.
Again this year, the track is offering season passes for the racer or race fan on your Christmas gift list. Give a grandstand admission pass for only $300 or a 2025 pit pass at only $600. Christmas Day delivery is guaranteed. Call or text 613.349.9127 to order. Tuck it under the tree or stuff it in a stocking. The motorsports enthusiast in your life will love you for it.
Even with opening night – tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 10th – still more than 5 months away, don’t wait too long to get fired-up about the next season of action at The BOS. The latest track news and information is never far away. Be sure to follow www.brockvillespeedway.com and the venue’s social media platforms and pages for everything you’ll need to know.
