OUTLAW SPEEDWAY PREPARES FOR 2024 SYRACUSE MOTORSPORTS EXPO

Story by Kenny Shupp Jr.

(Dundee, NY). The Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, NY will have a presence at this year’s Syracuse Motorsports Expo on Saturday and Sunday, March 8 and 9, 2025.

“It is with a great deal of pleasure that Outlaw Speedway will be on location at this year’s Syracuse Motorsports Expo. This is without question one of the largest and most well-attended annual car show events in New York, stated Outlaw Speedway owner, Tyler Siri.”

The 36th Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo will be held in the Center of Progress Building at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY and according to event organizer, Jeremy Corcoran this year’s event will once again feature a mixture of racetracks, merchandise and cars from every form of Motorsports.

According to Corcran, “The response to this year’s Syracuse Motorsports Expo has been great. Applications from racetracks, merchandise vendors, car owners and drivers have been flowing in at a brisk pace. We will have a good mix of everything from go-karts and microds right up through Street Stocks, Late Models, Sportsman and Modifieds form both dirt and asphalt. Plus, multiple merchandise vendors providing everything from race team and driver t-shirts, die die-cast collectibles along with a complete assortment of other Motorsports memorabilia. It is an excellent blend with something to grab the attention of everyone in attendance.”

Corcoran then went on to say, “I must thank DOT Foods of Syracuse for coming on board as the headline sponsor of this year’s Expo. VP Racing Fuels, Dirt Track Digest TV along with FX Caprara Car Companies will join forces with DOT to co-sponsor the Northeast Racing Products Trade Show and Expo. With the help of our marketing partners, it allows me to keep some of the overhead costs down, including admission prices. Except for Covid years my family and I have been doing this since 2017 when we took over the promotion of the event from the Patrick Family who were the original founders. We hope that 2025 will
be the best event yet!”

Tyler Siri has indicated that he will have his track announcer and Facebook guru, Craig “Spazman” Simmons of Outlaw Speedway on hand staffing the display booth complete with signage and 2025 schedule cards.

“There are fans from all over the state that attend the Syracuse Motorsports Expo every year. Having Outlaw Speedway represented at the event will create a lot of exposure for the track and the drivers that compete weekly.” That once again according to track owner/promoter, Tyler Siri.

After the conclusion of the 2025 Motorsports Expo, the next order of business for Siri and the Outlaw Speedway will be the first practice date for the upcoming season on Saturday, March 29 which will be followed by practice and front row qualifying for the Annual Lucas Nationals on Friday, April 4. The first full night of race competition including all qualifying events and features will follow the following night on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
