Friends.....

After 29 years of leading local motorsports racing coverage....we're done. We got put to rest by iNSTAGRAM and Twitter, X, and TikTok....and Facebook. Just like we put Gator and many print publications to bed back in the 90's (RIP all of them), we too take a dirt nap NOW.

OMG, too many thanks to go around.....but, Artie Gladfelter, the late Dave London, Tommy Fecteau, Dave Seils (RIP), Tommy Druar (our great buddy, RIP), the great Dick Ransom (RIP), Sherry Whaley, GATOR BOY Jody London, the great MIKE PAZ......if I'm missing anyone...please chime in. My apologies.....it's a sad day here.

YOU all made RaceNY what it was...and what it'll always be! OMG, the OSWEGO PARTIES, everything......But, local racing is hurting.....thanks John White for crushing us at Spencer, and at Chemung....if I ever get several million dollars...I WILL REBUILD it all. Even if I lose my shorts. Because, a legacy was born...and will never be extinguished. WE promise you that. WE WILL BE BACK.......

BUT, we will always provide the history that RACENY provides...forever preserved...right here under the RACENY banner.

SO, as the originator and ADMIN of this great empire......let's revel in the past because the auto racing future sucks here in WNY. Godspeed to you all......

Also...it's my hope for the content of the site to be available as a historical reference at the same RNY domain, just will no longer allow posting...not that anyone was posting. LOL

Dave: Would you allow me to create a social media site variation (like the enemies: FB, X(Twitter) or IG), as a viable replacement? I realize it will be a difficult transition, but if successful, the layout would take on a VERY different look... and we all know how many people have negative views of change(s). Once it's up, I will invite you to be a co-admin and request several others as moderators to assist. Hopefully, a fair number of "members" will "crossover" to the site(s)! Your call!

What do ya have in mind? Like create an actual social media platform, or utilize a social media account and operate from there???
