MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL AT OUTLAW SPEEDWAY ON FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2025
The postponed Roy Silvers Memorial will be held alongside Mother’s Day Night.
(Dundee, NY) On the 2025 calendar you will find Mother’s Day set for Sunday, May 11, however in keeping with a tradition he began when purchasing the Outlaw Speedway ten years ago, track owner/promoter, Tyler Siri will honor all “Moms” on Friday May 9 as part of the Fast 5* Show.
According to Siri, “All mothers are special in this world, and they need to be recognized. It is with a great deal of pride that we welcome all moms to the Outlaw Speedway on May 9. We want these ladies to come here and enjoy a great night of race excitement, and it will be free admission for them.”
A Fast 5* Show including the rained-out Roy Silvers Memorial which was postponed on May 2 will await all race fans with the Friendly Chrysler Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds headlining the night of action on the Fast 4/10 of a mile clay oval.
The Knapp and Schlappi Lumber 602 Crate Sportsman will also be on the card as well as the Swarthout Recycling Street Stocks.
Also, in action it will be the Addison, Corning, Hornell, and Wellsville NAPA Hobby Stocks as well as the Winner’s Circle Deli 4 Cylinder Mini Stocks featuring a mix of both front and rear wheel drive machines.
The Fritz Masonry Youth Bandits will also be on the card.
In the first month of action at the popular Yates County Oval, Mother Nature has taken control with numerous rained out events including the Lucas Oil Nationals, The Cal Lane Memorial Spring Nationals, and an open practice on April 25 as well as the originally scheduled Roy Silvers Memorial on May 2.
“We are all keeping our fingers crossed that these weekend rain patterns will shift and we can get some racing in.” That once again according to track owner, Tyler Siri.
