I passed that car sitting at the exit of the on-ramp to I-485 in North Charlotte yesterday afternoon waiting to launch with what was believed to be Denny Hamlin behind the wheel.  There was a cop about 1/4 mile down the interstate, I would bet waiting for them to try something.  That Lexus LFA looks wicked sweet in person!

Kevin Harvick reportedly was trailing behind Kyle (as usual) in a Childress Company Car and was pulled over and ticketed for not maintaining minimum safe speed on the Interstate.

He immediately blamed his pit crew and was heard to mumble to the arresting officer, "I'll never win a Cup Championship with this team!"

I agree!!

Not that I condone it, but I did 110 in a 35 once....about a half mile from the local Police Department to boot!

Probably running from Harvick's wife.  She was right behind him but she couldn't keep up because the skillet she was waving around created too much drag.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit... Kyle running from a girl. Wouldn't you think Kyle probably would have free access to any speed venue he wanted? Of course he probably can't afford to "rent" the track if they said he couldn't use it for free, right? Maybe if he went right there in town to the 1 1/2 mile speedway and said "Hey, can I run a few laps?" Good to see he's matured so much.

I won't be surprised if Toyota and the other manufacturers will be forced to review with their lawyers about providing these kinds of cars to race drivers.  I, for one, am grateful that there was no actual accident involving innocent human life or damage to someone else's personal property.  I shudder to think about it!!!

On the flip side, if you don't believe that any race driver ANYWHERE, be it at the local, regional or national level wouldn't try what he did at the same age driving a fast car on the street, you are either completely naive or as insane as he was.  Heck, it doesn't even have to be a racer...there are often many accidents around the country which involve unsafe speeds or incredibly poor judgment.

I doubt that any of us up here wouldn't be tempted to do the same thing if somebody else gave us a fast car to toy around with.  You won't convince me that Jr. hasn't done the same thing with his "Intimidator" Camaro, or Biffle in a Roush Mustang or Keselowsi in his special edition Challenger!

Kyle's only problem is that he got caught, fortunately...or for him personally, unfortunately.  At least he didn't blurt out the same kind of crazy remark that his brother tried in Phoenix AZ a few years back!

Thank goodness for Kyle Busch being in NASCAR, otherwise I'd have to start watching International Chess Competition, which would be more exciting than NASCAR without him.

The man is fast.  Harvick or his brother Delana will never be able to keep up with him, on the track or the street....

Let those among us that have never driven over 115 MPH on a public road cast the first stone at Kyle....I'm disqualified!
