KEVIN MILLER POSTS CAREER-BEST FIFTH AT HOLLAND
Last Saturday night seventeen-year-old racer Kevin Miller scored his first best result to date in the NASCAR Ragingwolf.com SST Pro Modifieds feature at Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex in Holland, New York. Despite some early setbacks, his crew led by veteran area racer Steve Lynch refused to surrender. The perseverance of the Kevin Miller Racing team allowed them to overcome all obstacles and battle their way forward, scoring a career-best fifth place finish in the KLM Motorsports SST.
?The competition is always strong in this class,? notes Miller. ?After some early problems my crew got the car straightened out and I was able to race toward the front of the field. It?s a credit to all the assistance and leadership Steve Lynch has brought to our team.
?I had a feeling this could be a good night because it was my first time starting up front. Early in the race I got mixed up in a tangle but I pitted and the car seemed fine so I went back out on the track. Obstacles kept happening but we never gave up. That?s a credit to the encouragement my crew always offers me. We all share the credit for this performance tonight. Hopefully it can continue to grow each week.?
This week Kevin Miller Racing will return to Holland on Saturday night in hopes of an even better result. Then on Saturday the team plans to make their debut at Chemung Speedrome in Chemung, New York in the Southern Tier as part of the Race of Champions Dart Asphalt Modified Tour program. Kevin Miller Racing plans to make their first appearance a memorable one and the driver echoed his team?s positive outlook.
?This will be my first time racing at Chemung and I?m anxious to see how we do. I know we?re always capable of a good performance and we plan to show the fans at both tracks what we can do. After last Saturday night we have some momentum and we will use that to our advantage. I can?t wait for next week.?
Let the green flag wave!
