Oof. Going to be tough sledding for a certain poster on here. a former "ROC" guy wins, only 26 cars start, and of those 26 three are parked for going too slow.

This was Pat's first Tour win. He's been close before and showed he's as good any on that tour.
Tommy Barrett ( another rinky dink) also got a first ever Tour win at Bristol.
What's obvious (again) is there is talent in ALL Modified series and only the insufferable Kool-Aid Tour drinkers

Patrick Emerling conquers 'Thunder Valley'
Patrick Emerling swept his way to Victory Lane with a near-perfect performance at Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday.
The Orchard Park, New York, driver was fastest in practice, won the Coors Light Pole Award and proceeded to lead 148 of the 150 laps en route to his first career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory. He crossed the line 1.239 seconds ahead of Doug Coby. Prior to Wednesday, Emerling's best career finish was a second at New Hampshire in 2015. Justin Bonsignore finished third and is 19 points out of first. Chase Dowling and Ryan Preece rounded out the top five at Bristol. Andy Seuss was sixth, followed by Rowan Pennink, Ronnie Williams, Bobby Santos and Matt Swanson.

I haven't stopped laughing after reading posts on this topic by Laminate, private12, and fatbackazz since I got back home from down south. By the way, I stayed and went over to Bowman Gray on Saturday. And they had more real modifieds than your rinky-dink had this past weekend. And as always the place was packed, not like your couple hundred that sit and watch in awe at your rinky-dink. You guys are so pitiful with some of your statements.
Last year somewhere here I made the statement that I thought Emerling was wasting his time doing rinky-dink races. I always thought he belonged on the real modified tour. The travel to most of the NWMT races is brutal from someone from western N.Y. Don't think so, ask his crew chief, he did it for years
Now, onto the foolish statements some of you have made. I want you to go to this link I have provided, and count how many real modified races he has competed in as compared to your "rinky-dink". He is a NASCAR modified competitor first. And I'll bet he will say the same thing.

HDaddy, you failed at doing your homework. Actually it will be considered incomplete. It doesn't show any of Emerlings 2016 RoC results. Who knows what else that link is missing.

Great job to Patrick and the entire 07 team.
Patrick took home $12,735 for 1st place from the Cash purse of $78,390. Might be his biggest take home purse of his career.
He sure was fast and legal.
