My dad passed away today. I Wanted to let everyone know. He loved Late Model racing!. He loved Holland Speedway!
He sponsored JD Roberts #70 and the division LAMOT racing with the belief that late model racing would be king once again at Holland Speedway. He loved watching old school Late Models Art Clark, George Skora 2nd, Mike Fiebs SR, Gary Schwab, Rick Wylie, John Julicer, Ron Nurmi, Ed Anchor, Dick Flaig, Vern and Mark Bliss, Sonny Whitmeyer, Dave Heizhause and Eldon King Sr. (Forgive my misspelling of any names) He taught me everything about racing as early as 1987. I wanted to race at one point and would have helped me!
He loved watching Sege Fidnanza vs Chuck Hossfeld vs George Kent and Randy Hedger at Lancaster Mods at the US Open.m and Oswego!
In his later years he loved watching dirt big block mods with Matt Sheppard to Stewart Friesen. Told me he loved watching anything with 4 wheels! Dirt or Asphalt.
He was old school watched perry, holland and lancaster. He would take me and my brothers and I would twist his arm (not hard) to go with me!
RIP and love you dad!
His favorite driver today was Andy J! #57, George Skora 3rd #65 and Lutz #14. He sends his reguards to Mike Ticco and his son Andy. Gordon Trank and the Skora family (George,Scott, and Rich)

His last race he watched was at Holland in 2024 the roc mod show!
