Congrats to Scott Bennett:IMCA Modified Feature (20 Laps)- SCOTT BENNETT, Josh Sawyer, Rich Karlnoski, Dave Yehl, Mike Smith, Phil Yaw, Mike VanDyke, Bruce Tinsley, Kevin VanAmburg, Mark Griffin, Victor McNeal (DNS).
awesome race, first time ever racing a v8 anything there all these years and to have finished on the lead lap was great. congrates to everyone. Gotta replace some parts before we can race again but will be back for the next race
was my first trip there this year and again....the racing was fantastic ! sportsman, lates, imca, stocks and both 4 cyl classes put on a great show....even with the back strech lights goin out for a bit . my hats off to the track crew and management for doing what they had to do to get the show in for the fans...combine all that and my fat azz will be back again in the very near future !
Thanks mike that sucks about your steering after last night I'm glad I got into this class all the drivers are class acts and I think walts right over time you will see this class build great fun can't wait till the next race
so whats the verdict bodyshopman, you are done with driving and gonna come help me lol or can you come up with something one last time. if there was ever an imca modified god its definately you and i appreciate all the help you have given me already
Mike, Mark and Rich Mcneal gave me lots of help and advice on getting the car to turn. I'll have it right by the next time. Hopefully see you in a couple of weeks. Love the track, can't wait to be able to actually to race instead of fighting the car.
you know only having one brake working doesnt slow the car down very easy. next time I will get the rears to work and maybe be able to drive it farther into the corners. gotta fix the carb too. not bad for using a 4412 against those four barrels, REALLY
m2vrace, I just graduated from college, so first priority is a joby job....lol! After that I'm looking for a street stock, then after a year or so I want to run something open wheel(sportsman or IMCA). Definitely want to run full fender V8 first though.
MAN! The racing was awesome last night, Jerad hill and Chris Fisher have balls of steel, those two ran side by side, lap after lap, for 10+ laps. I haven't seen a race like that in YEARS, gave me a stiffy!
