We ran there the beginning of the year this year and last year. I dont know what you got for motor but we had a big block and ran a 5.28 gear and was turning right around 7 grand hope that helps ya with gear and if anything its smaller then advertised more like a fulton configuration. With more banking.

Not surer what engine, chassis you run but David Calaman (Mr leak / Calaman's Radiator) 570-265-5325 has ran his 13z out there several times and I am sure he would help you out.  Also I know Mr. Ford power Mike Colstene (sp) who runs five mile point & Penn can speedway and I think he works at Don's auto parts would give you some good info. as he runs out there a couple times a year. Hope this helps,  I have been out there a few times to watch 410's and mods and agree its a REAL big 1/2 mile. It's smooth and wide all the way around.....  Good Luck  p.s. you should also consider the first ROC race at Seilingsgrove Speedway. That's a good one as well.

;D Thank you for the responses. I have a 04 bicknell x and the motor will be a large cube small block on alcohol. looking for around 7k so the gear info will relay help. I will be calling people tomorrow. I did not realise just how fast it will get hear less than 2 months away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike Colsten is a good source. I am a long time crew member of the 51 team. Always runs a consistant top 5 car at Hagerstown. He is the general manager of Don's Automotive Mall in Binghamton NY. Also should get some good info from Mr. Leak Dave Calaman.

Hagerstown is actually a little smaller than a half mile.
Come on down to Selinsgrove in March, it's a BIG half mile, more like 5/8. Big sweeping corners, VERY FAST!!!!!

Good info there cupycake !  maybe you can help him out in the chassis / set-up department if you have been the chassis man / pit-crew for the mighty 51 all them years. He sure used to kick some a$$ at the point a few years back.

"dr24z" As I said in my first note and "dtkrocker" has confirmed,  Please consider the ROC show at the Seilinsgrove opener on March 19th (small block) and March 20th (big blocks). They put on a great show and it seems EVERYONE is all cranked up as its the beginning of a NEW season !! ALL THE BOYS SHOW UP FOR THIS ONE... The Dr. , Hearn, Decker, Ward, Colsten, Pauch Sr & Jr, Shurnk (sp), Horton, and may more....
You can find more info on the Race of Champions web-site. Good luck again..

"69must" I will see just were we are with every thing after the MD race. we plan on putting our car on display with my team if every thing goes as planned. If the sponcers and every thing else are satisfied I will be going!!!. It also depends on how well this car runs. it is brand new top to bottom and I know that their will be a few bugs to work out. but if every thing goes smooth I would love to go.
