A-Verdi, Albany-Saratoga extending marketing partnership

MALTA – For years, A-Verdi Storage Containers has been a highly visible supporter of dirt track racing in New York state. And as the company has grown, so has its marketing reach.

A-Verdi will continue to strengthen its foothold in the Capital Region of New York in 2021 when it returns as a marketing partner at Albany-Saratoga Speedway in historic Malta, N.Y., as well as Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon.

A-Verdi Storage Containers, based in Savannah, N.Y., has been locally owned for over 40 years. The company’s ground-level office and shipping containers meet the unique space needs for any site while keeping a professional appearance in any environment. It’s not unusual to walk into a race track and see one of A-Verdi’s containers being used for onsite storage.

“The big thing for us is the signage and the PA announcements, getting our name out in front of the people,” said Frankie Cottrell, who coordinates most of the sponsorship deals for A-Verdi. “We started out in the Rochester and Buffalo areas. The Capital District has been our newest venture, and it’s worked out well for us.”

In 2021, A-Verdi Storage Containers will also be holding two hospitality nights at Albany-Saratoga Speedway.

“A-Verdi has been a great partner for Albany-Saratoga Speedway,” said speedway promoter Lyle DeVore. “We share the same values. We both want to provide a dependable, high-quality product for our customers.”

Marking the 56th season of racing in Malta, DeVore has set up an ambitious schedule for 2021, beginning with the “Hell or High Water” season opener on April 16. The rain date for the opener is Sunday, April 18.

DeVore has also scheduled tech and safety inspection for all divisions on Sunday, April 4, with gates opening at noon. A practice session is scheduled for Friday, April 9, with on-track activity taking place from 5-8:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the practice session will be moved to Sunday, April 11.
