10 cars competed in the Late Model heats; #4 and #24 didn't run them. Weber's backup and Heitzhaus are supposed to be there for the feature. I don't know what happened to the #37, but it wasn't there on Saturday.

Batista broke something on Friday and was done for the weekend.

I saw him when he was walking away from the red #2 Sportsman when he was called to the pit tower, and he had a name on his firesuit (if it correctly matched the driver). It was a Jerry Gradl car.
I believe it was Dane Lorenc who made an appearance with the #00 Sprint at Ohsweken Speedway this season.

Dave Wollaber practiced Gradl's #2 Modified and is slated to drive that in the R.o.C. event.
Lorenc won a Patriot Sprint Tour Tour event at McKean last month.

I think you will find it was former modified driver Todd Lorenzo in the #2 Sportmod.

Don't know what is going on here, but I have twice wrote a nice summary of the weekend and been denied access from posting it. It says I am not a member or not logged in, yet it shows that I AM logged in at the top of the page............wtf

no more time to waste today

Hmmm. Maybe Lorenzo looked younger since he last raced his #76 Modified at Lancaster in 1992? LOL
I didn't recognize him. One can always be wrong and admit it.
They didn't know who was driving the #2 Sportsman in the grandstands tower when the car was announced in the heat and consi.

Don't feel bad, I didn't recognize him either.....lol........I talked to him earlier this year. Apparently he runs a collision shop and has done some paint work for Chuck. When I saw him in a firesuit Saturday, I put 2 +2 together........
