Here is your one-stop shop for information! This year's running of the Shootout will feature an action packed Friday-Saturday combination weekend headlined by the 4th running of the Jim Pierce Memorial SST Modified 100, paying $2,026 to win!

The NY Super Stock Series will be returning to the Bullring for their season finale doing battle in the $1,221 to Win Sandra Vogler Memorial 51, which will also determine their season champion for 2021!

Bonus money and specialty awards will be spread out through all of the events this weekend, and updates on this will be provided here leading up to the event.

Also on the racing card is an action packed Friday featuring the WCIS Super Stocks, 6 Cylinders, Grandpa Dog 4 Cylinder Stock division, and a Grandpa Dog 4 Cylinder Pro division which will be competing in a Dash-4-Cash event.

On Saturday, the Grandpa Dog 4 Cylinder Pro division and Vintage Racecars will join the SST Modifieds and NY Super Stocks to round out the card for the conclusion of the Shootout weekend. Just a couple Frequently Asked Questions we’ve been getting:

1. Camping is FREE this year per Jim and Polly, and they just ask that campers respect the camping area and please cleanup after themselves.

2. Just like the rest of this season, our beer policy is BYOB. While we look forward to offering beer and malt beverages in 2022, we are sticking with 6 pack sized coolers, and please no glass.

3. It is officially fall and so please dress accordingly as it gets chilly after the sun goes down. We will have our propane heater units up and running throughout the facility, as well as a bonfire in the midway to help keep warm as well.

Thank you all for your interest in our final event of the 2021 season! 🏁

13 cars in the headline division on the biggest race day of the year means what exactly?

I think it means the owner of that place might want to look in the mirror to see the trouble there.

Anyone that has raced there knows the deal, that is why very few still race there. Great little race track with very good racing when officiated fairly. Too bad.

It's unfortunate to see that the wear and tear of the season really hindered this event with multiple teams experiencing engine issues/requiring clips... we lost roughly 4-5 teams to engine failures throughout the season (also had 3 engine failures in practice on Saturday between Nye, Mislin, and Williams... Mislin did an engine swap between practice on the feature and Williams made a repair which held until he was knocked out of the race to an injury). This combined with another 3-4 teams that had conflicts with other races or weddings/anniversaries that would have been there, it was a tough day. This would have put us near a 22-24 car field in a perfect world.

With all that being said, the top 4 of Jankowiak, Timmy Lewis, Bookmiller, and Majchrzak had several awesome restarts mid-race that made what looks like a lame race on paper quite interesting. It sucked to see Timmy break while running a strong second place. Also guys like Pettinelli, Koz, Williams, Garlock showed very good speed. Would have liked to see if former shootout winner Shawn Nye could have mixed it up with the front runners.

Onward to 2022...

Pettinelli in the 2ny was 4th
I apologize for my lack of context, I was meaning from laps 35-80ish. Was sweet to see the 2ny come on strong at the end and finish a race after the first two visits this year lol and UticaMike might be onto something.
