We are proud to announce that Austin McSpirit has been named the 2024 Town of Mohawk Firefighter of the Year! Austin is one of our youngest members, but he consistently steps up and proves that age doesn’t define commitment or dedication. He’s always there when we need him, and you rarely have to ask him to do something—he just gets it done.
Since joining the department, Austin has shown incredible reliability, hard work, and a true sense of responsibility. The membership voted for him to receive this well-deserved recognition.
