    Hodgdon wheel scales

As is quite obvious, a "few years" have passed since my original post. I still have these scales, and as I'm getting older, and am looking to clear out my basement, I'd like to sell these scales. Anyone interested?

PR - Pavement SPENCER SPEEDWAY FANS INVITED TO WATCH THE CONCLUSION OF THE MAYNARD TROYER CLASSIC VI — FOR FREE

That's a VERY gracious and generous gesture, by the ROC organization. Having said that, this Friday in my wife's birthday..............

Commentary SVG's domination causes some to question Cup Series number of road course-laden events on the schedule

I'm with you, Mike, leave the current toad courses alone, as they do, by nature, allow for good racing. The "street courses"??? What a joke, they're like trying to race in the parking lot at the mall!

PR - Pavement MAYNARD TROYER CLASSIC VI PRESENTED BY F/A PRODUCTS AND PLANTER BOX DIRECT TO HOST STAR-STUDDED FIELD INCLUDING DEFENDING EVENT CHAMPIONS SILK, LEATY

I hope the rain holds off! I live about 10 miles west of the track, and as I type this, just several hours before race time, the weather has been somewhat questionable. It absolutely POURED, for about 20 minutes, around 4AM (it woke me up!), and has rained twice, since then.....

    2025 ROC Modified Schedule

Thanks for posting this info, KT! And "happy holidays" to you and all the other NY race fans. Hopefully the weather will be more contusive to racing in 2025...........

    ROC schedule 2024, for Spencer's

Looking ahead, to 2025, at the ROC website......I don't see ANY races scheduled for Spencer's. Is this a fact, or something that will be used to fill in a couple of the TBDs??

Commentary NYS DMV strikes again!!! Not directly related to racing but noteworthy, nonetheless...

I've run a totally clear cover on my front plate, for decades, not to "fool" the toll stations, or the red light cameras, rather to protect the plate from getting beat up and rusty, from stone chips....

    Modified show at Spencer's

Turned out to be a good show, and kudos to all who worked hard to make it a success. Couldn't believe how windy it was, however. It made it somewhat difficult for the girls who were involved in the "frisbee toss". Also, it was really wild to see that the area immediately off the backstretch of...

    Modified show at Spencer's

"KT", that's good to hear. However, just in case there might be a rise in that chance of rain, you think the organizers might run the 60 lapper first?

    Modified show at Spencer's

Hoping to be able to see at least one of the ROC modified shows this year, as the previous two shows were interrupted by rain, I've been monitoring the weather situation closely, for the show this coming Friday. And lo and behold, it doesn't look good!! The various weather forecasting services...

    Modified show at Spencer's

The ROC site doesn't show a starting time (for whatever it's worth......pardon my sarcasm!) for the August 2nd show at Spencer's. Anybody happen to know what time they're shooting for? Thanks in advance!

    ROC schedule 2024, for Spencer's

Is it my imagination, is it a misprint, or something else?? All I see, on the schedule that's published on the ROC website, is two "asphalt modified" races, scheduled for this season, at Spencer Speedway. Is that right, or am I misreading something?

    Holiday Season

Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good night......and I also hope that Santa Claus brings all of you the race car parts that you'll need, for the 2024 season.

"kt", can I interpret that as disagreement?

    Am I nuts??

Dakota, with all due respect, the way I see it, Paulie can "smooth behind the wheel", as you put it, but there are times when the mental side of the game takes maturity.....a level of maturity that a 12 year old has yet to develop. No disrespect to him, but he's still a CHILD. Unless his father...

    Am I nuts??

Mike, thanks for the good wishes! With respect to Paulie Hartwig, however, I have to disagree with you. The "results" posted by the ROC organization, regarding the race Friday at Spencer's, had Paulie in a full tilt modified, qualifying in the top 10, @ 19.024 seconds, finishing 2nd in the first...
