Geez, did Chemung get rained out for their ROC SHOW, have NOT seen one word about the show on here ??? Did they have it, and did anyone go to it ??? Geez, I thought this was race NEW YORK, WHAT'S UP ???

I was there... cheering on Hirschman. started 6th if I remember right, but then got booted back farther when someone tried to go three wide down low. Now instead of being ahead of Emerling, Preece and Beers ( a new favorite of mine), he was behind them all. But in the end made for a better race as he picked them off one at a time.. and finally got Andy J ( another favorite of mine) on a double file restart. Beers came back from starting 12th, and then a spin out with Emerling to get 2nd. A good night of racing, tho the whole show started about an hour later than scheduled.

We posted the results Saturday and within them contain information about the upcoming week's events. Here's the link:

I continue to wonder where everybody went...no one is talking racing any more, at least not here.

Yes, I did see the Press Release, I guess my comment was because I did NOT see ANY mention under the Race Discussion , of any race fans that were there, JMO, sure is different from what we used to see on here ...

It is hard to get excited when the headliner class has 7 cars. The racing everywhere except for DIRT has been dying for a while now.The crowds at Spencer have been great and so has the racing.I guess people dont have alot of spare time these days to post on Race New York which is another shame,oh well i guess.

Its hard to draw cars when you have a tire shortage espically b- mods class. They had a huge turnout for roc show there at chemung also the spencer speedway nice to see full stands. Its a nice track great racing but need new grandstands and new lights there. Hopefully someone buys the place and put some tlc into such a great place to go.

As far as dirt right now ya they are getting much better car counts and way better attendance. But most of these places run 7 to 8 classes, so heat races take till about 9 to 10 o'clock to finish. Went to outlaw one night about 2 years ago at 1130 they still had 4 features to go.
There is always hope on both dirt and asphalt things could get better

I used to post from the track every week, but we quit going when they allowed Hanbury back.

BOZO , geeez, Chemung isn't alone with small car counts, I seen where Thompson had a 75 Lapper, and only had 14 cars ... And Ernie, how long of time, does For Life really mean ???

In regards to any discussion(s) here, I can't speak to that! But, Carol sends the results to me ASAP!

As always, those are in the PR/Results section...

Yes, raceannouncer, as I said 8/17/21 (above), I did see Press Releases, I was just commenting on number (or lack of) Race Fans commenting on the race here under Race Discussions, and yes, Carol does a fine job ...
